Why Am I Running?

I’m running for Board of Commissioners because I love this town and have a deep commitment to Nolensville and aim to guide development in a way that balances progress and preservation of our town’s character.

Well-planned growth and prudent budget decisions that lead to a prosperous and thriving Nolensville are among my top priorities. Like you, I drive our roads and notice that it has become increasingly difficult to travel our streets.

My goal is to champion decisions that will improve our roads and infrastructure. My financial background would contribute to  a fiscally responsible budget that minimizes the potential for future tax increases.

Progress and Preservation

Thoughtful Growth

I support a growth plan that focuses on responsible development that keeps our Nolensville charm intact. Instead of adding more apartments, I support aiming for fewer, well-thought-out projects that prioritize single-family homes, retail, parks and green spaces. My goal is to prevent overcrowding, reduce traffic, and preserve the quality of life that makes our town special.

Improve Roads & Infrastructure

As our town grows, it’s crucial that our road infrastructure keeps pace with the increasing traffic. We need to prioritize updating and expanding our roads to prevent congestion and ensure safe, efficient travel for everyone. Investments in infrastructure now will support future growth while maintaining the quality of life that our residents deserve.

Fiscal Responsibility

Fiscal responsibility is essential for our town’s future. We must manage our budgets carefully, making sure we’re spending wisely and maximizing the use of available matching state grants whenever possible. Prudent financial planning will benefit our community for years to come, ensuring a stable and prosperous future for everyone.

About Me

Heino Moeller smiling

The first question I always get is “what kind of name is Heino?”  Well, my dad‘s from Germany and I was named after him before I was old enough to complain about it.

I’ve lived in Tennessee for over 22 years and in Nolensville for almost a decade . So, this is my home and I don’t plan on going anywhere. If elected, I’ll be making decisions based on the long game, with the intent of helping the town grow responsibly while keeping the charm of Nolensville that attracted so many of us in the first place.

I work in the mortgage business and help people realize their dream of homeownership. So, I would bring valuable skills to the role of a town commissioner, including strong financial savvy, negotiation abilities, and attention to detail, all crucial for helping guide our town’s budget and operations. I have a strong customer service mindset, highly developed communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and talent for building relationships that would ensure that I can work effectively with the other commissioners, town staff and the citizens of Nolensville.
